She got her first camera, to take to sleep-away camp, when she was 8 years old. She found the camp's small darkroom a cool, quiet refuge from the hot, sticky chaos of summer. Though she has outgrown her disdain for the outdoors, she will never outgrow her need to take pictures. Her work has appeared in <em>The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal</em>, <em>The Washington Post, AARP.org, Culture: The Word on Cheese Magazine</em>, <span style="font-size: small; "><span style="color: rgb(128, 128, 128); "><span style="font-family: Verdana; "><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal">The Bark</i> and <i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal">Light Leaks Magazine</i><i style="mso-bidi-font-style:normal"> </i>among others. When Jennifer is not out making pictures, she spends her time trying to keep up with her </span></span></span><span style="font-size: small; "><span style="color: rgb(128, 128, 128); "><span style="font-family: Verdana; "><span style="color: rgb(128, 128, 128); ">blog</span> and working in her garden.</span></span></span></span></span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal"> <span style="font-size: small; "><span style="color: rgb(128, 128, 128); "><span style="font-family: Verdana; ">Throughout her career, she has been lucky enough to get some great assignments, meet people and see places she never would have been exposed to otherwise.
