Jennifer grew up in the suburbs just north of New York City. Her earliest experiences with photography revolve around her father who was a serious amateur photographer. She was a young girl when he died. She had few memories of him, but his photographs were something tangible to hold on to. She always loved making photographs, and was compelled to create photographs and document everything around her, to an almost obsessive degree.
Throughout her career, she has been lucky enough to get some great assignments, meet people and see places she never would have been exposed to otherwise. After many years of employment at St. Louis' Riverfront Times, Jennifer recently launched her career as a freelance photographer, continuing to do assignment work for the alt-weekly and others, working on personal projects, and exhibiting and teaching as often as possible.
Jennifer currently makes St. Louis her home, where she lives with her husband, Joe, and their cat, Athena.
She is available for assignment work and is very willing to travel.
